Hi there and welcome!

 

If you're new to these parts, I've put together this handy guide on how to get started.

I hope you enjoy your visit!

Searching

Search is the quickest way to locate the information you’re after. Use the search box at the top right on desktop or tablet, or the search icon on the top left on mobile. If you don’t find what you’re after you can always post your own question.

Browsing

Prefer to jump straight into the community? Click the pink tabs at the top of the screen, here you’ll find the entire community at your fingertips.

 

 

Register

Had a peek around the community already? If so you’ll no doubt want to join us, just hit Register below and follow the instructions. Don’t worry, you’ll be brought back to this page once you’ve finished.

Complete your Profile

To fully use the community you’ll need to verify your email address. Check your spam or junk folder if you haven’t received the verification email after 1 hour.

 

Choose your profile pic or avatar to show off your personality. You can change this as often as you like!

Posting / Commenting

All our discussion boards are open for you to ask questions, share your thoughts, and help others. Once you’ve found a discussion board you’re interested in, just hit the pink ‘New Topic’ button to start a conversation with the community.

 

Or if you have anything you’d like to add to an existing conversation, simply click the pink ‘Reply’ button to add your thoughts.

 

Pssst, if you’re shy you can practice posting by clicking reply on this post to say hi!

 

 

Finding your posts

You’ll be able to find all your questions and comments on your profile page, and it is here that other members can also see information about you such as your posts, likes and solutions.

 

 

Liking / Solutions

You can like any of the posts or blogs around the community by any of our members. It’s like a virtual high five for something you agree with, or a way to say thanks for the help you’ve received!

 

If you started your own topic and your question has been answered, you can accept that answer as the solution. This helps others find answers to questions they have, and it also gives the person who answered your question a little boost in their ranking.

 

 

Private Messages

If a member of staff has asked you to send them a PM or private message, you can find the link to do this in their signature. You can also go to your inbox by clicking Private Messages at the top of the page, where you can see received and sent messages, and compose a new message.  

 

You won't be able to send a private message until you have posted at least once on the community.
