@billbond4  I'd say itll be a while yet but what Id like to know what does it actually mean, its gotta be more than just mobile signal. You seem to know a lot and have an interest, what do you think the future holds in a 5G world?

Its really hard to say exactly, probably more automation in things like traffic signals and it will assist in self driving cars.

The low latency will help in some areas like in surgery.

Three UK are selling 5G Broadband routers in London, so there are loads of ways that it may take off.
