Will my phone work in Dun Laoghaire?

Hi, guys Smiley Happy

I'm Rodrigo from Brazil and I'm going to live in Dun Laoghaire - Dublin from may, for the next few years!

I want to buy a smartphone for me here in Brazil before traveling and I would like to know if the following models will work in the 4g or 4g + of Ireland using the bands of Three:

Will they work?

It doesnt have the 4G+

Re: Three Ireland network frequencies

Legend
It needs to support lte band 20.
Also i dont think it has enough bands to support lte

If you only have one of these bands, does that mean your phone will only be find half the coverage? Or do the masts broadcast both? If you have one band will you have less coverage than if your phone could handle both

Re: Three Ireland network frequencies

Legend
You may not have any 4g coverage at all as the cell in the base station may not transmit in band 3 or 6, band 20 is for lte+ only. Its hard to tell as each location has a different setup

Scout

can you clarify, as after reading this thread, i note that on the 4g network the frequency bands used 4G: 800MHz & 1800MHz .  can you tell me are both frequencies used on all masts or is it sometimes 800 and sometimes 1800.  can you clarify that on some masts only one of these frequencies would be utilised.  can you clarify if it is intended to eventually have only 1800 used for 4g while phasing out 800.  thanks.
