Not reviving sms messages from the uk

Hi I don’t seem to be receiving SMS  messages from U.K. it seems to be all numbers!! I am on prepay. How can I fix this,please?

Oh dear, did this just start? Had you previously been able to receive them? What kind of a phone are you using 😃

Iv only been made aware of it recently but I think it has been a while. I am using an iPhone.

Can you ensure your message center number matches this please: SMSC Address  +353830000800. You can check this through Settings, Messages.

Iv searched all the settings and can’t find anything with smsc number I have an iPhone 5.

From the home screen, tap Phone ,  tap Keypad, Enter *#5005*7672#, then tap Call, The current SMSC setting will be shown on screen.

Thank you it seems to be a different number the number shown is +353868002000

No just shows the number then dismiss underneath no other options

Legend
If the SMSC number needs changing, enter **5005*7672*SMSCNUMBER#, (where SMSCNUMBER is replaced with the correct SMSC number in full international format).
