I took out Carphone Warehouse Insurance on my Galaxy phone at time of purchase & paid monthly. Phone got smashed & Carphone Warehouse replaced it, but it is again locked to Three network. The three people now say I must top up THIS IEMI number by 120 EUR BEFORE I can get it unlocked.
Are they for real? I work abroad at the moment & got replacement when I was home. I don't want to have to pay & should not have to pay for UNLOCKING AGAIN as Insurance sorted out phone, had paid for over 2 years.
Is this a three network scam, as they did not insure phone??
Hi there @harryweasley I'll be able to look into this for you. It's quite possible that the replacement phone wasn't from your insurance, did you pay for the phone? Do you have a receipt? If it was from your insurance, do you have proof of replacement? This is easy to get from Team Knowhow Mobile Complete.
