@GaryLennon91 Yup every time you top up when the plan expired, whether its 3 days ago or 3 months ago, the plan activates the AYCE data again

@GaryLennon91 the text is to remind you to top up so that you don't end up losing your credit when  it expires. If you top up again by 20 your plan will activate for another 28 days

@GaryLennon91 That reminder text message is system generated and not guaranteed every month, I'd suggest setting up a scheduled top up on your My3 account so this wont happen again in the future! 😊

Hi,

I am in the same position. Got no notification. Bam €43 gone with just 48Mb. My god.

Now here is something interesting.

You own FAQ states.

Please note: Once your 28-day plan expires, further usage charges will apply to any remaining credit, including internet usage. Once your plan has expired, you will begin receiving text messages informing you that your credit is now being used.

Why did I not get the SMS to inform me that you will be using credit for services. Please refund my account due to your failure to honour the terms above.

@Chrismonks  Spend alerts are not guaranteed to come through to you in real-time but you will receive texts to advise of the credit used. We recommend keeping an eye on your expiry date via My3 App and to turn off the data until you are able to top up and activate the AYCE Data Plan. The link you've provided is to an article about AYCE Data and not the terms and conditions which are available on our website. There is a scheduled top-up option which will automatically top you up every 28 days and you can set that up in your My3 account.

I've also added this piece of info to the article to clarify that point and appreciate you getting in touch with us.

Thanks'
