up and down speeds

My speeds where poor around 1-2mb this was down to my timber framed house being wrapped in foil, so I brought an external antenna, 3 told me the best mast to point it at and boom 60 mb down 30 up, now this did drop in the evenings but it was still usable.

Now since the easter break its gone to the dogs (1-2 mb) Ive tried changing to 3G it was better for while then that stopped but all this time when on 4g I have had solid cyan and five full signal bars, I'm on the 750gb bill pay  plan and no where near using that amount, tried resetting the router. Ive noticed when doing a speed test that it waits about 10 secs before starting the test.

Any ideas?

Did you or the wind move the antenna?

It’s in the attic, I did another test yesterday, first one was 101mb second 10 mins later 0.19mb and I do the test connected by cable to rule out WiFi problems. If I change to internal antenna to strength drops from 5 to 2 bars so I assume the external one is ok

It sounds like their could be an issue with the network backbone from the three mast to the three network.
Send the mods a pm with all your details and get them to check is the mast OK

It is a common problem no matter of your location. Great connection at Three was a reason why I switched whole family and some friends to 3 few years back. Now, for about two months now everyone is complaining at speeds. Slowdowns starts from evenings till approx midnight. LTE connection is terribly slow and even unusable. Switching to 3G sometime before helped, but not anymore. One friend already moved to Vodafone, other are considering it too. 

I see that helpdesk is trying to blind users saying to reset their phones/routers or move them to different locations but it's pointless. The real issue is with a service. Hope this is all happening because they work on 5G, if so... I can wait a bit longer for things to get better. Just tell us how long it's gonna take.
