Re: Extremely slow Three Mobile Broadband in the evenings...

@Mac_n_cheese. Thanks for your reply. The router has been moved around, yet it's current position in a south facing window provides the best results by far as the closest Three mast (GSM, UMTS and LTE) is located in Coachford, County Cork, approx. 3.5 km South-West from our location) and the with the next closest Three mast (UMTS and LTE) located in Classis, County Cork, approx. 5.4 km South-East from our location. Have tried switching to 3G connection only when speed drops below 1Mbs, yet that makes it even worse with no upload at all. Connecting to 4G only makes hardly any difference. Have just now changed current APN from 3internet to 3Ireland and will see if that improves the situation this evening...

3 Community Manager

@Classius Hello there, has changing the APNs helped? I'm sure there are a few members, especially @Mac_n_cheese who'd be interested to know. I've also checked the masts in your area, using the Eircode you provided and see that they are up and running. However, 3G does seem to be the strongest indoor signal. How did you change to 3G only?
