Pie release for Huawei p20

Hi any update on when pie should be released for Huawei p20? It says on some sites that it was released globally 18dec??? Any further info please?

Released in a way but then it has to be given to the different networks and they have to do the checks so takes way longer.

@Celticsibh I'm going to check into this for you and as soon as I have some info I'll get back to you. It's definitely Pie and not EMUI 9 you're looking for? @Michael_Mick, you're very right, as software updates need to be tested before release 👍

Hi Deborah, yes emui9 update. I thought pie and emui9 are the same thing? Thanks

@Celticsibh that's no bother at all. I have a Huawei P20 Pro and got the EMUI9 update last night. The update should be on its way for the P20, although I don't have an exact timeframe. I'll come back to here if I hear something 👌

@Celticsibh , I have some news for you! EMUI 9 is now available for the below Huawei devices. 

 

Huawei Devices on EMUI 9

Mate 20 Pro SW version: 9.0.0.153(C432E10R1P16)

P20 Pro SW version: 9.0.0.168(C782E3R1P9)

P20 SW version: 9.0.0.168(C782E3R1P11)

Hi Deborah, I have the p20 but when I go in to software, it's still showing emui 8. It's saying my software is up to date???

Can you check your "build number" and see if it shows the version given above?
