Yeah I know what you mean, nice to see it.

There maybe an app that will display the network type your connected to, have a look on the google play store.

Something like this maybe

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.outlyer.nettype&hl=en

"Network Type Indicator"

Hello Guys,

This still wont work - I have one default APN called O2 Ireland - So I
have 2 options here either create a new APN called "3" as follows

Name: 3
APN: 3ireland.ie
Username: None
Password: None

MMSC: http://mms.um.3ireland.ie:10021/mmsc

MMS proxy: mms.3ireland.ie
APN type: default,mms,supl

When I do this it disapears after I push save

The other option is to amend the existing APN called "O2 Ireland" with
these settings but again when I push save that to disapears

Just to note I can connect to the internet using mobile data - I just cant
get the "3G" or "4G" at the top of my phone like when I uses my S4 Mini on
the meteor network

No idea @Jhonmicky If it's just the aesthetic and data is working then I wouldn't be bothered by it. It's not a 3 phone I imagine but maybe someone might have a solution.
