We often get asked "what do I need to bring with me if I'm signing up to Three on Bill Pay accounts?", so we've created this handy checklist!

Proof of ID (in date and valid):

European identity card

Full or Provisional EU photo driving licence

Proof of Address (dated within 3 months):

Bank / building society /credit card statement (the transaction details can be blacked out)
Utility bill – gas, electricity, fixed line telephone, waste and broadband
Mobile network operator bill
TV licence / gun licence
P60 certificate
Media supply company bill – Sky, UPC and Magnet

Examples of proof of ID that CANNOT be accepted:

Expired passport or drivers licence

Handwritten licence or passport

EU identity card without a date of birth or signature

A drivers licence that is not sealed or laminated

Examples of proof of address that CANNOT be accepted:

A letter (excluding P60's)

Bank fee or interest letters

Tax Credit and Motor Insurance certificates

Statements or bills in someone else's name

Gardai or military identity cards (as it's a disciplinary offence to allow copies to be taken)

Date on the proof of address is over 3 months.

If you're unsure if you have the right documents, drop us a PM and we'd be happy to discuss it with you. Or if we've left anything off the above list, comment below to let us know!

Helpful Tip

  • If you're joining us on a SIM Only plan, make sure to check that your phone is network unlocked i.e. it can accept any network SIM?
