Community Rules and Guidelines



If you'd like to get help with joining in or just want an explanation on what the community is about, check out our "Getting Started on the 3Community" guide.


Our Community provides a place to discuss all things Three Ireland. We encourage you to get involved and look forward to hearing from you. However please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the House Rules. 


Posts by other members of the Community do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Three Ireland. 

Although we don't want to censor any conversations within our Community, Three Ireland reserves the right to remove any posts that don't adhere to our guidelines and to block anyone who violates them repeatedly - specifically posts that are considered to be: 


  • Abusive, harassing, stalking, threatening or attacking others 
  • Defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar or depicting violence 
  • Fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or unlawful 
  • Trolling or deliberate disruption of discussion 
  • Violations of any intellectual property rights 
  • Spamming in nature 
  • Uploading files that contain viruses or programs that could damage the operation of other people's computers 
  • Racist, sexist rude, profane or otherwise offensive 
  • Link baiting (embedding a link in your post to draw traffic to your own site) 


These rules extend to public and private posts, and the content of your username. Please note that your username name may be recycled if unused for a long period of time.


Customer Service Queries.

While we'll pass your customer service inquiries on to the appropriate people, please bear the following in mind: 

Normal working hours for the Moderators are 9am-8pm Monday to Friday and 10 am - 6pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. 

If your query relates to your Three account we'll need to confirm some account questions in Private Message due to the data protection regulations. 

Please ensure to PM us directly with your name, number, address and date of birth.


Safety on The Community

Please ensure that you do not provide any of your personal information including account information to anyone on the Community that is not a Three Moderator. How do you know it's a Three Mod? It'll say so under our Username, here's a picture. Under Three_ its says 3 Moderator which is a special role and only the moderators have that role, so it'll only display for us.




Guideline updates:

As the community evolves and grows, the community may deem it necessary to update these guidelines in order to maintain the community's efficiency and temperament, so check out these guidelines regularly for any changes. We will keep this up to date as often as possible. All guidelines also apply in conjunction with the Three website's general terms: Terms and Conditions
