my father has an O2 prepaid SIM card **** bought years ago. The last time I checked (Christmas 2016), he still had a credit of appx. 30 Euros. He rarely uses the phone, he is 89 years old. I checked today and there is a message on the display "112 calls only". I also tried to ring the abovementioned number from my telephone and got an automatic reply stating that the number is "out of service..".
Trying to top up the SIM card using the Three.ie website with a credit card results in a "Technical error". Very helpful.
