Tip of the Week: Add a theme to your Android

Why should I do this?

One of the best things about owning an Android phone is how easy it is to make it your own. Customising and adding themes to your Android is a really easy and fun way to personalise your smartphone and make it stand out from the crowd.

When you download a theme, the theme will be integrated into your phone’s display in a natural way, giving your Android a makeover.

How do I do this?

Most of the top Android manufacturers all have their own ways for you to download themes. Below, we’ve explained where to find themes for Samsung, Sony, HTC and Huawei devices.

Samsung

Applying a theme to your Samsung device is really simple. Simply long press on the home screen, tap the ‘Wallpapers and themes’ icon, select a content, and download it. Samsung has a huge range of themes to choose from - for more information, check out Samsung.com.

Sony

Like Samsung, Sony has a wide range of themes to choose from, all created by Sony partners and independent designers. If you’re the creative type, you can even design your own theme using their Theme Creator. For the full range of Sony themes to choose from, check out themes.sonymobile.com.

HTC

If you have a HTC device, just download the HTC Themes app. The app allows you to access lots of fantastic designs, and create your own themes from scratch. You can find out more at themes.htc.com.

Huawei

To customise your Huawei phone, check out Huawei.com. Simply pick your Huawei device, and you’ll be able to access the themes designed especially for that phone.
