Galaxy s7 - frozen

I have a galaxy s7 which has been getting very hot when charging or using wifi.  Now it has decided to completely stop working - I can't even turn it off. I can't get the battery off; I have removed the sim, and have an old galaxy 5 but unclear how to insert it.

You need to send the s7 off for repair.
The s5 uses a micro sim, so you need to get an adapter to get your nano sim card to fit.
Try a phone repair shop or a phone unlock shop to get one

Thanks. The S7 also has a micro sim....
as luck would have it, the battery on my car has gone, so I'm off to walk
to the Carphone Warehouse...so much for a relaxing day off!

Its always the way, dont know if CPW can help you with an adaptor.

(you could ask them to make a nano sim out of a micro sim and you could use the part left over as the adaptor)

Maybe you might have to get a new Trio Sim and use the Micro Sim in it while your using the old phone and then change it to a nano sim when you get your phone back.

Eeep, hope it's not too far of a walk @Canninga! I'd go with @billbond4 and get a trio SIM in Carphone Warehouse if you can, it's much easier to switch between nano and micro SIMs that way.

Thanks but I think that needs a garage! Now if only I could get the printer
sorted, Oh for quill and ink. Of course it would be the one day I am
waiting to hear back about a new job...

Hope you have a nice indie mechanic to sort you out, never really trust the big garages.

Hmm nearly better off to buy an new printer these days instead of getting them fixed.

Good luck and hopefully theirs a voicemail about a job !
