Need the internet/MMS settings for your Android device? Look no further!

Here are the generic APN (Access Point Name) settings, which are normally found under Settings – Mobile Networks – Access Point Names.

Different phones may not require all of these, or they may be worded slightly differently. If you’re unable to edit the current settings, press the Menu key to add a new APN.

The settings are as follows:

Name: 3 Ireland

Proxy: not set

Port: not set

Username: not set

Password: not set

MMS Proxy:

MMS Port: 8799

MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0

MCC: 272

MNC: 05

APN Type: not set

Once they have been entered, back out to save them and restart your phone.

Hi, are the APN settings the same if you were previously an O2 customer? My wife can't get any Internet on her phone at all whilst out of WiFi range and she has been topping up with €20 or more a month?
